Groovy Drum is a drum teacher shaped like a cat. Plug in an electronic kit, follow the step-by-step guide and play along with your own songs. The cat measures every hit to the millisecond: early, late or right in the pocket.

How it works
1. Plug in your kit
Any electronic drum kit with a USB MIDI output works, no drivers. Phone, tablet or computer. Headphones in, and the sound comes out with no lag.
2. Follow the guide
Twenty short steps, from the snare alone to a full rock beat with fills. Each one ends with up to three stars. The click counts you in and the cat marks every hit: early, late or on time.
3. Play your songs
Upload an MP3 or paste a link. The app separates the drums and writes the drum part out. Then you play on top, at half speed if you need it, looping the hard part.

Any brand with a USB cable out. It plugs straight into the phone, tablet or computer.

It is coming to iOS, Windows, Android, Mac and Linux. Windows and Android first.
Nothing else
No account needed. If you sign in, your players and progress follow you to any device.
For kids too
Several players per account, each with their own stars. Kids play with a grown-up nearby.
